In a way this makes sense. True Christians know the beast which rises up out of the sea is going to kill them:
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Revelation 13:7 KJV
... while wise people know we need more animals on this planet other than ourselves to survive.
A true win-win situation, in both the spiritual and corporeal realms.
