Forcing Trump To Be An Arms Dealer ???

In a sermon given in 1967, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke clearly to what he called "the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today: my own government." Sadly nothing has changed from then until now, except that US instigated violence now threatens the peace of the entire world.

It is quite likely the US "deep state" carried out the assassinations of JFK and his brother because the two wouldn't go along with its dreams of military domination of the globe. And now in an article by Eric Lipton, Maggie Haberman, and Mark Mazzetti in The New York Times, it is made clear the current push to impeach President Trump is strongly backed by that same deep state and their arms merchant backers:

If anything, this also may explain why Trump is now assassinating Iranian military leaders and their proxies - to placate his deep state foes and satisfy their demands for more wars and the resultant arms deal profits.

Doesn't this make us one of the sickest nations on the planet? Recall these other words spoken by Dr. King in 1967:

"A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death."

I believe we are quite close to achieving that spiritual death, and the saddest aspect of our achievement is cloaking it in the fantasy we are somehow helping Israel and facilitating the advent of the Kingdom of G-d. While the Bible clearly predicts an End Times full of violence, does G-d want Christians to be its purveyors? An honest reading of the Gospels will reveal the answer to that question to be an emphatic "NO".

So, what the hell are we doing?
