Note well this shift in world trade occurred AFTER the 9/11 fiasco. In my view, the so-called "war on terror" and the simultaneous ravaging of our economy by big banks and Wall Street are the major reasons the world does not want anything to do with us any more.

And I would argue that both of those factors were heavily influenced by our focus on the Middle East, our ill-conceived hatred of Islam, and our belief that every problem can be solved using coercion and violence. The rest of the world is not stupid. They can see what we have become, and they've had enough.

And this is not a Trump issue. If you listened to Rep. Schiff, you should know the US deep state is hell-bent on starting a major war with Iran, Russia, and China, and no one outside the US and Israel wants that to happen.
