It's All About Power And Wealth

Here are some observations on the current global conflict from Professor Michael Hudson:

What has occurred is a change in consciousness. We are seeing the Global Majority trying to create an independent and peacefully negotiated choice as to just what kind of an international order they want. Their aim is not merely to create alternatives to the use of dollars, but an entire new set of institutional alternatives to the IMF and World Bank, the SWIFT bank clearing system, the International Criminal Court and the entire array of institutions that U.S. diplomats have hijacked from the United Nations.

The upshot will be civilizational in scope. We are seeing not the End of History but a fresh alternative to U.S.-centered neoliberal finance capitalism and its junk economics of privatization, class war against labor, and the idea that money and credit should be privatized in the hands of a narrow financial class instead of being a public utility to finance economic needs and rising living standards.

Source - https://www.unz.com/mhudson/america-has-just-destroyed-a-great-empire/

Note well - it's got NOTHING to do with democracy and freedom, other than to prevent the rest of the world from ever achieving either one. When it comes to "evil empires", the US is at or near the top of the list.

Wasting Gas

Here is a report about a common practice in the oil and gas industry:

https://apnews.com/article/new-mexico-fines-oil-pollution-ee84aae6b0e3844578eecc5212f08aac

Oil and condensate can be transported from wellhead to market via truck, while natural gas cannot. So if there's no pipeline, companies will just burn it off.

Note the report makes no mention of the difficulties encountered by those who would like to expand the local pipeline network or build new ones. Didn't "Joe Biden" recently come out AGAINST pipelines?

The current fabric of regulation and economic reality ultimately may make it unprofitable for oil and gas companies to operate in the US. Then what?

Are you happy now?

Vaxx Batches Widely Different

Take a look at this graph of three different batches of COVID "vaccines", which are explained in the study linked below:

https://dailysceptic.org/2023/06/28/pfizer-vaccine-batches-in-the-eu-were-placebos-say-scientists/

Something VERY strange is going on here. In my view, there is either a lack of quality control among different batches, or someone seems to be conducting an experiment which may violate the Nuremberg Code.

It would have been nice if they also had studied the relative effectiveness of the batches, but apparently they did not.

Whatever the case, these products should be pulled off the market until such anomalies and poor outcomes are explained AND corrected.

Thinking Machines ???

Here is a good compendium of AI issues:

On this planet, the smarter, more ruthless species has always killed off its competitors. It is reasonable to assume that AI will do the same once it surpasses humanity.

China Vs. US

Please read (or at least skim) this report:

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/software-engineer-fiancee-sentenced-prison-developing-application-break-chinas-internet

Then tell me (if you can) how China's persecution of these two differs from US persecution of Julian Assange.

And if you have the time, please also consider this observation made by CJ Hopkins after attending a recent conference in Westminster:

The thing that was horrifying about listening to my colleagues reporting on the state of things in their countries — or, rather, the thing that should be horrifying but is becoming a mundane fact of life — is that more or less the same totalitarian program is being rolled out in countries throughout the world. The censorship. The official propaganda. The criminalization of dissent. The pathologization of dissent. The manipulation of our perception of reality. The coordinated transformation of the world into a smiley-faced neo-Orwellian police state in which politics no longer matters because society has been divided into two basic classes, i.e., “the normals,” who are prepared to mindlessly follow orders and parrot whatever official propaganda they are fed, and “the deviants,” or “extremists,” who are not.

Source - https://consentfactory.org/2023/06/27/fear-and-loathing-in-the-city-of-westminster/

Western mythology implies that such things are to be expected in a country like China. Why then do they also occur with nearly identical ferocity in the West? Don't we have a Magna Carta, a Bill of Rights, and similar written "guarantees"?

We seem to be playing out the final scene in Orwell's Animal Farm, and no one cares.

Malaria Comes To The US

According to this report, malaria is now endemic to the US:

https://www.heraldtribune.com/story/news/local/sarasota/2023/06/27/take-precautions-amid-sarasota-malaria-outbreak-health-officials-say/70360317007/

Note well the report doesn't actually say HOW this disease came to be present in US mosquitoes.

In my view, the most likely explanation is that persons infected with malaria entered the US without being screened, allowing them to be bitten by US mosquitoes which then are giving it to the rest of us. Just another gift from "Joe Biden" and his crowd.

If we followed our immigration laws AND properly screened all immigrants for a bevy of common diseases we could prevent (or at least deter) such transmission, but TPTB really don't seem to care. And that's one of the ways an exceptional nation turns into a shithole country.

Are you happy now?

Update - 7/2/2023

Here is more discussion:

https://www.ksl.com/article/50676307/experts-say-theres-a-slim-chance-malaria-cases-spread-to-utah

Note the following:

  • This additional report STILL does not discuss HOW malaria is entering the country. Most likely it is via human carriers and NOT via mosquitoes crossing our borders.
  • We got malaria "under control" in the US by using DDT, which is now banned. We kept it under control by not allowing carriers to cross our borders, which is something we no longer do.
  • If only three species out of thousands can carry malaria, why don't our BW experts exterminate them? Or is creating viruses like SARS-CoV-2 and "Disease X" to kill humans their top priority?

Sheesh !!!

SCOTUS Ignores Constitution

No doubt you've seen at least one version of this report:

The Supreme Court on Tuesday shot down a conservative theory that could have given state lawmakers extraordinary power to set election rules in their states with little oversight from courts, balking at an idea that voting rights groups worried could further erode trust in the nation's elections.

Source - https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2023/06/27/supreme-court-decision-independent-state-legisltaure-doctrine/11514835002/

What is this "extraordinary power" of which they speak? Here it is, in plain language in the US Constitution:

Article I, Section 4

1. The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.

Clearly, each state has the power to set its own election rules UNLESS Congress enacts a law overriding or altering them.

Also CLEARLY Congress did NOT so act AND the alterations made to the rules in several of the States for the 2020 election were NOT approved by their Legislatures.

I don't see how SCOTUS could be more wrong on this issue. They seem to have gone out of their way on several occasions to help get rid of Trump, either refusing to rule or making seemingly ridiculous rulings on issues related to the election.

I find it interesting that Israelis have been demonstrating against so-called "judicial reform" which will hamstring their highest court, while US citizens are meekly accepting the acts and non-acts (and apparent corruption) of their own.

Just another episode in the downfall of our "banana republic"? I don't know what else to call it.

Update - 7/5/2013

Here is additional discussion which includes the selection of Electors:

https://realclearwire.com/articles/2023/07/03/we_need_a_constitution_that_means_what_it_says_149437.html

I agree with the author 100%, except for one issue - we do NOT need a new constitution, we need to start following the one we have.

My assessment is that the US Constitution was crafted to prevent the kind of BS we're now seeing in our elections. For the Supreme Court to go along with that BS is a disgrace which stinks to high heaven.

The Rot In America's Democracy

Here, in under 1000 words, is Tom Elliott's description of the rot which put "Joe Biden" in the White House:

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/blatant-political-corruption-rot-americas-democracy-explained-under-1000-words

Spot on, other than the error of claiming we have a "democracy". It's been a "national security state" since at least 1947, and its needs override those of We the People each and every time.

Why We Won't Work

According to The Ethical Skeptic, here are 42 reasons some folks no longer want to work:

Many of them are quite reasonable, but I leave it to you to form your own opinions.

Every Parasite Needs A Host

Here is an observation by James Kirkpatrick:

I don’t know what it’s like to live under a government that deliberately doesn’t try to make my life worse.

It’s not like, when somebody stands up and says, oh today we’re going to talk about defending Human Rights, I say, “Oh good, this is great, I’m going get more rights!”

No, every time somebody says something like that, I know a disaster is about to ensue.

But it’s not just because they’re misguided, it’s because there’s a real system behind this that they profit from.

Source - https://www.unz.com/article/if-gop-just-did-whats-needed-to-win-wed-be-better-off-but-they-prefer-money/

The entire essay is a good explanation of that system and why "our" government is so messed up. Read it if you can spare the time.

Blurring Reality

Schools in the US are encouraging several forms of fantasy and make-believe behavior among their students:

http://themostimportantnews.com/archives/schools-are-now-allowing-children-to-identify-as-cats-horses-dinosaurs-and-all-sorts-of-other-things

And the media decline to host discussion of how extreme forms of make-believe can have very negative consequences:

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/amc-cancels-documentary-detailing-long-term-health-implications-gender-transitioning

I am relieved to no longer be a prisoner of the US school system. But I feel sorry for its current generation of victims.

The entire episode reminds me of what happened to Native American children who attended the schools the US set up to turn them into "white" children. Many were scarred for life, while others ended up in the schools' cemeteries:

Nukes In Our Future ???

Here is a stark warning from Gilbert Doctorow:

https://gilbertdoctorow.com/2023/06/19/tactical-nuclear-weapons-latest-news-from-russia/

When "Joe Biden" says the Russians soon may use tactical nukes, what it really means is the maniacs running the US would be ECSTATIC if the Russians took the bait.

The US has wanted to nuke the Russians ever since the Manhattan Project. I doubt it ever was the other way around. We have always been the aggressor.

Here is a related discussion by Kim Petersen:

China is about peaceful development and win-win trade relations. The US is about waging war, sanctions, bans on trading, and an immodest belief in its indispensability. Because of this, China and Russia with the Global South are each forging their own way, a way that respects each country’s sovereignty. In future, it will be increasingly difficult for the US to use loans to impoverish other nations and plunder their wealth through the IMF’s financial strictures. Sanctions, freezing assets, and blocking financial transactions through the SWIFT system have pushed countries away and toward de-dollarization, joining BRICS, taking part in the Belt and Road Initiative, and using other financial institutions such as the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank based in Beijing. Even companies in countries nominally aligned with the US are pulling back from the harms of adhering to US trading bans. The US pressure tactics have resulted in blowback, and there is sure to be growing apprehension within empire.

The US is a warmaker. It flattened Iraq, Libya, and would have done the same to Syria had not Russia, Iran, and Hezbollah intervened at the invitation of the Syrian government. Nevertheless, the US still illegally occupies an enormous chunk of Syria and plunders its oil, revealing its true nature to the world.

China is a peacemaker; for example, the Saudi-Iranian rapprochement, the Syrian-Arab League reunion, a ceasefire between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, a proposal for peace between Russia and Ukraine that was rejected by the US, and currently China is playing an honest broker to try and solve the Israeli-Palestinian impasse, something the US has failed miserably at solving (not that it was ever interested in solving this besides, perhaps, a brief interregnum under Jimmy Carter).

Source - https://dissidentvoice.org/2023/06/readouts-point-to-a-disjuncture-between-us-and-china/

TPTB know they are losing the current global conflict. They probably think they can turn things around by provoking a nuclear crisis which they can blame on the Russians.

You may THINK no one could be that stupid, but trust me ... you are wrong. At this point, it's going to take a miracle to prevent a nuclear war.

Running On Empty

Here is another way the green crazies want to curtail your mobility, by in effect slashing your tires:

There is really no end to this sort of stuff, until they eventually make it impossible for us to own or operate personal vehicles.

From Coal To Nuclear ???

According to this report, most US coal-fired electric plants could be converted to nuclear:

https://news.yahoo.com/report-shows-80-america-retired-130000462.html

I find that very hard to believe:

  • The nuclear steam supply system would have to match the temperature, pressure, and flow requirements of the existing turbine and its supporting systems;
  • Significant site preparations would be necessary to handle the weight of the new reactor and its supporting systems; and
  • An entirely new site security system would have to be constructed.

Necessary modifications and upgrades may be so extensive that it would be better to just start all over and build new plants from the ground up.

In any case, it would be wise to "mothball" the existing coal plants and keep them as backups to whatever new facilities we construct. Any conversion scheme would preclude that possibility, and in my view be a very foolish thing to do.

Update - 6/21/2023

Here is a related discussion:

https://news.yahoo.com/state-blew-last-coal-plant-101500785.html

Note the report contains mostly unsupported platitudes, with no mention of the costs of this "irreversible" conversion. In the meantime, New Jersey will be depending on power plants in other states to keep the NJ grid up and running.

But what happens when ALL states blow up their fossil fuel power stations before the new green power network (including batteries which will cost trillions of dollars) is ready?

The answer is brownouts and blackouts. And they also may be "irreversible".

Update - 6/30/2023

Here is a report which confirms my suspicions:

https://www.deseret.com/utah/2023/6/28/23777165/rural-electric-provider-in-utah-impending-u-s-energy-crisis-moon-lake-coal-plants-mitt-romney

I think TPTB know EXACTLY what they're doing, and one of the chief goals of their agenda seems to be weaning us off affordable energy.

Seven Years In May

One of my all-time favorite movies is Seven Days in May, based on the novel of the same title. You can read about it here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Days_in_May

What we have experienced over the past seven YEARS is more or less the plot of the movie:

Seven Days in May is a 1964 American political thriller film about a military-political cabal's planned takeover of the United States government in reaction to the president's negotiation of a disarmament treaty with the Soviet Union.

Only this time around, not only did the ENTIRE military-political establishment participate in the plot, there was no one to blow the whistle and save our nation from this nefarious coup.

The result? A growing, needless war with Russia based on lies, and a crumbling economy at home while military forces quietly conduct "training exercises" in our cities:

https://youtu.be/Cgl-D2sIWkU

Where's our Jiggs Casey, our Jordan Lyman? They don't exist, and most of the nation seemingly does not care that such a plot not only has been carried out, but has succeeded.

But not to worry - Obama ad-Dajjal has called for "digital fingerprints" to be mandatory to help law enforcement agencies target and arrest users who read and share "non-mainstream news" online. That should help ensure "white supremacists" and other extremists don't interfere with the coup:

https://thepeoplesvoice.tv/obama-calls-for-digital-fingerprints-so-police-can-arrest-people-who-share-non-mainstream-news/

I'm sure George Orwell is rolling in his grave. The rest of us better wake up, or we may soon be joining him there.

Update - 6/21/2023

Here is an observation by James Howard Kunstler:

Or maybe, what we’re seeing in all these military movements is the prelude to a real live military coup d’état? Just sayin’….

Source - https://kunstler.com/clusterfuck-nation/strange-days/

Or preparations for a nuclear war? One of the domestic impacts of such a war would undoubtedly include a declaration of martial law.

Why Use DU Munitions ???

As you may have heard, the UK and other NATO countries are sending depleted uranium munitions to Ukraine, in spite of the fact such weapons are known to pose significant health threats to friend and foe alike and to the populations of countries where they are used. Allegedly they work well at penetrating tank armor, but might there be other reasons NATO likes to use them?

According to this report by Democracy Now!, use of DU by "coalition forces" in Fallujah, Iraq resulted in horrific birth defects in the offspring of the city's residents:

The deleterious effects associated with DU have been known for some time and were documented in this report in the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists:

https://thebulletin.org/2020/07/war-and-the-environment/

However, note well the BAS makes no claim that DU is the CAUSE of the horrific birth defects noted in the Democracy Now! report. And most references I can find also downplay the role of DU in such circumstances. Yes, they claim, it's harmful but it doesn't do THAT. So what's been going on?

This 2011 scientific study by Samira Alaani, et al. may contain a clue:

Hair samples from 25 fathers and mothers of children diagnosed with congenital anomalies were analysed for Uranium and 51 other elements. Mean ages of the parents was: fathers 29.6 (SD 6.2); mothers: 27.3 (SD 6.8). For a sub-group of 6 women, long locks of hair were analysed for Uranium along the length of the hair to obtain information about historic exposures. Samples of soil and water were also analysed and Uranium isotope ratios determined.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3177876/

Note the report's closing statement:

The levels of Uranium could not be explained by any local Uranium deposits in the soil since measurements made of soil Uranium showed only modest concentrations though the Uranium was slightly enriched. Levels in the hair were also greater than could be easily explained by the levels we measured in the drinking water. The hair samples appear to contain traces of slightly enriched Uranium with an isotopic ratio of 135.16 (SD 1.5). The soil samples contained slightly enriched Uranium with isotope ratios ranging from 118 to 132 (natural range 95% CI 132.1-144.1) which demonstrates the existence of enriched Uranium in the Fallujah environment. Since none of the other elements found in excess in the parents were genotoxic except Uranium we conclude that these results support the belief that the effects in Fallujah follow the deployment of a Uranium-based weapon or weapons of some unknown type.

... deployment of a Uranium-based weapon or weapons of some unknown type !!!

So, it appears that weapons containing enriched uranium (i.e., NOT depleted) may have been used, and something else may have been deployed as well. From what we now know about SARS-CoV-2 and the US weapons labs/factories in Ukraine and elsewhere, it's entirely possible the "DU" munitions being sent to Ukraine might contain something other than or in addition to depleted uranium.

If the intent is to "kill as many Russian as possible", then we might expect these weapons to have a biological component which not only would contaminate the battlefield but also could be carried home by survivors to infect their families and neighbors.

Don't trust any claims made by NATO nations or any other US vassal states. The US is the only nation known to have used nuclear, biological, chemical, and radiological weapons in battle. The US also is suspected of facilitating attacks with severe environmental consequences (e.g., the NS I and NS II pipelines and the Nova Kakhovka dam). I would not be at all surprised if they used modified DU munitions as a vehicle for introducing even more lethal weapons onto the Ukraine battlefield.

That's the very kind of sneaky trick the US and its vassals love to pull on the rest of the world.

How To Make A Difference

Here is some good advice from Charles Hugh Smith:

To really reduce one's consumption of the planet's resources, we would have to grow our own food, get around on our own feet or zero-fuel transport (motorless bicycle or skateboard or boat) and not buy / own / use large resource-consuming devices such as vehicles, aircraft, etc.

The system as currently configured makes it nearly impossible to do this. Even growing much of your own food requires delivery of fertilizers (organic or chemical, they still weight a lot). Very few places are bike-skateboard friendly. The world is set up for large, mass-produced fueled vehicles. Outside of a few cities, public transport is incapable of getting people where they need to go in any sort of time-efficient manner.

Source - http://charleshughsmith.blogspot.com/2023/06/this-is-why-nobody-will-do-anything.html

Any takers?

Update - 6/15/2023

Upon reflection, the above kinda sounds like Ted Kaczynski:

He lived in a cabin near Lincoln, Montana, a place in every sense off the grid: no electricity, no television, no telephone. He moved about with a bicycle. He took an interest in regeneration in nature. He even foraged. This was his way of romancing the notion of the “pre-industrial city”, as he termed it, where the “19th century frontiersman” could create “change himself, by his own choice.”

Source - https://www.globalresearch.ca/never-more-relevant-ted-kaczynski-technology-trauma/5822359

The lesson here is that all this could be achieved without violence, as long as TPTB didn't resort to it to bring us back to the fold.

What's the chance of that happening?

The Real Climate Catastrophe

Yes, there is a climate crisis. But it stems not from CO2 we put into the atmosphere, but from the nonsensical "solutions" some folks want us to implement:

https://internationalman.com/articles/david-stockman-on-the-phony-climate-change-catastrophe-and-why-americans-will-foot-the-bill/

A species cannot thrive in a sea of its own waste. Earth's green plants are here to take care of the CO2, but we need to take care of the rest.

A good first step would be to stop digging things out of the ground which are then turned into batteries, solar cells, and wind turbines ... all of which quickly end up in landfills, leaving behind mountains and rivers of even MORE waste and byproducts.

Greene Rejects Green

The county in which I live (Greene County, Ohio) is soundly rejecting the "green" agenda. No solar or wind farms will be allowed in several counties:

https://www.daytondailynews.com/local/fifth-greene-county-township-declared-off-limits-from-large-scale-solarwind-sixth-in-the-works/ZFLHS5ZIQ5ENJACW2QOV7QENGE/

I'm more or less in agreement. Farmers help keep us alive. The Greenies don't; in fact, they appear to be pushing an agenda which may kill many of us.

Realistically, this is the way to handle the issue -  put it up to a vote of the people. "Our" Congress cannot be trusted to act in our best interest.

Creeping Tyranny

So, "Joe Biden" issues an executive order to do something which is unconstitutional (forgive student debt), Congress passes a bill to repeal the action, and the President vetoes the bill and vows to ignore what the Supreme Court says about the matter:

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/student-loans-biden-vetoes-bill-to-claw-back-student-loan-relief-234933387.html

Can you provide a better example of tyranny, which is defined as "a government in which all power is in the hands of a single ruler"?

The US is NOT a "democracy", and it is no longer a "constitutional republic". It's a political disaster, in which nearly all branches and organs of government have been weaponized against the people and the ruling party's political opponents.

Of course, we already knew that but no one really seems to give a darn.

Ted Is Dead

Ted Kaczynski, the alleged sole "Unabomber", has died in prison. You can read about it here:

https://www.daytondailynews.com/nation-world/ted-kaczynski-known-as-the-unabomber-for-years-of-attacks-that-killed-3-dies-in-prison-at-81/MAIDOYDEYNFNTPNZVDSVOWF4BA/

Kaczynski, a gifted mathematician, for some reason withdrew from society, lived alone in a shack, wrote a "manifesto", and apparently started sending bombs to various people around the country, injuring some and killing others. Perhaps he did all that because the CIA melted his brain via the MK-ULTRA Program, perhaps for some other reason(s). I doubt we'll ever fully know.

I haven't read his manifesto, but I did scan it once. It seemed to be a warning about the very dystopian society we now are being forced to live in. I think there's several lessons here for all of us, including this one:

Ted apparently thought violence was a way to get people's attention and change society. Today we call that "terrorism", but what do we call it when the US government engages in similar activities, often on a larger scale? Responsibility to protect? Humanitarian intervention? Preserving democracy?

Yes, what Ted did is unforgivable. But we as a nation need to ask ourselves why Ted was in prison for killing a few, while our leaders who kill millions are still free and enjoying the good life.

Does that make any sense to you?

Will The Nukes Work ???

Some interesting thoughts from Jim's Blog:

Do anyone’s nukes still work? My guess is that Global American Empire nukes stopped working a long time ago, but some Russian nukes still work.

Nukes were and are made out of components that deteriorate over time, and have to regularly refurbished, reconditioned and sometimes rebuilt. And if you are not testing, your maintenance process is likely to go off the rails when the men that built those bombs retire. The test ban treaty was a stealth slow motion nuclear disarmament treaty.

Source - https://blog.reaction.la/war/possible-outcomes-of-war-in-the-ukraine/

In a former life, my roommate at US Navy Officer Candidate School and classmate at Nuclear Power School is now a retired Captain who, among other things, was one of the managers of our Stockpile Stewardship Program. He is a VERY intelligent and capable guy. If he believes they'll work, they will.

So don't get your hopes up that the test ban treaty has disarmed anyone. The nukes are ready to go, and they'll do a bang-up job if used. They are nowhere near as decrepit as our current Commander in Chief.

AI And The JFK Assassination

According to this report, AI may soon be used to solve the JFK "murder mystery":

https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1777026/artificial-intelligence-john-f-kennedy-us-government

Please allow me to say this about that:

1. I would be astonished if the original Nix film still exists. But the available copies do show important information, especially when compared to the Zapruder film. The Nix film clearly shows the limousine was slowing almost to a stop and then sped up, which is what all the witnesses claimed. The Zapruder film shows no such stop-and-go motion, which more or less proves it has been altered.

2. I suggest that AI be used to analyze the Altgens 6 photo to determine whether it confirms Lee Harvey Oswald was standing in the far left of the doorway:

  • whoever it is, they are wearing the shirt Oswald had on when he was arrested;
  • they are standing in a posture characteristic of Oswald;
  • when interrogated, that's where Oswald said he was;
  • two credible witnesses saw him in the lunchroom just a few moments after the shooting; and
  • no one saw him coming down the stairs from the "sniper's nest", although several people had the opportunity to do so had he been there.

Oswald was NOT one of the shooters. The real mystery is who WAS, and why the FBI and our "intelligence agencies" lied about it.

By the way, did anyone actually LOOK for the curtain rods? We could have cleared most of this up 50 years ago.

How To Do It

Apparently some Methodists are confused about Jesus and the Bible:

Divisions over LGBT people are “the symptom of a theological divide within the denomination,” said Brian Straub [who] is an ordained pastor in the Global Methodist Church. "We all believe that gay people are worthy of Christian love. We don’t agree on how to do that."

Source - https://www.daytondailynews.com/local/172-more-ohio-umc-congregations-disaffiliate-in-slow-schism-from-church/Y5XJ27RQ5NGSTCBTRA7D24QSKE/

I think Jesus already provided the answer. He forgave sin, but He never maintained that those He forgave were NOT sinners. He typically would send them on their way while saying "Go, and sin no more."

The problem with these Methodists (and most people) is they have forgotten why we weren't supposed to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and the consequences of doing so.

The Long Road Down

Here is an extensive analysis of the fall of the US empire:

The parallels with Rome are astonishing, but it's not like no one could have seen this coming.

The forces behind this are too powerful, and the potential resistance is too weak:

I guess if you spend enough money, you can silence just about anyone. It will be instructive to see how Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. fares. If they succeed in silencing him too, that'll more or less seal our fate.

In Love With AI ???

Here is a bizarre essay which claims that US dominance of AI will compensate for any of our shenanigans in Ukraine and Taiwan:

https://www.globalresearch.ca/ai-more-powerful-than-ukraine-taiwan/5820812

From my perspective, I might believe that some people will benefit from AI ... mainly the disruptor class, astute investors, and a select few corporate entities. But the rest of us? No way.

Almost anything a human can do, AI can do better. And faster, without complaint, and for a lower cost. It will make humanity obsolete. And useless people don't survive in this world. TPTB are making that abundantly clear.

So go ahead, believe this nonsense if you want. I'm sticking with the facts, and so far AI has done nothing for me.

The Great Green Deception

We're all being told we MUST switch to "sustainable"/"alternative" forms of energy to save the planet from global warming.

But there are other things we're NOT being told, such as ...

Most "sustainable"/"alternative" energy (wind, solar, hydro, ocean waves, etc.) ultimately comes from the Sun. Any currently untapped potential energy from these intermediate sources is dissipated and/or radiated back into space.

But what happens when we "tap" those sources to make electricity or cook our food? Doing so generates heat which is trapped in the air, water, and soil before being radiated back into space via new paths. In other words, it will heat up the planet more or less the same amount as an equivalent expenditure of fossil fuel-derived BTUs.

The only potential difference is that the "net zero" carbon approach may ensure that CO2 and other "greenhouse gasses" will not be generated in the process, allowing the new heat balance to be achieved at a lower temperature.

But is that even feasible? Here are two recent reports which say otherwise:

https://mishtalk.com/economics/bidens-solar-push-is-destroying-the-desert-and-releasing-stored-carbon

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/lab-grown-meats-carbon-footprint-likely-orders-magnitude-worse-retail-beef-study

We'll probably not reach net zero no matter how hard we try.

The bottom line? No one is doing a COMPLETE energy balance on the schemes being proposed to "save us". The only real way to cut back on the human contribution to global warming is to cut back on the number of humans.

And if that's even necessary (many credible scientists say it's not), who gets to authorize what would be the greatest mass killing of human beings in history? The brain-dead pedophile in the White House? The psychopaths in Congress? The Davos/WEF beast?

I thought this was a democracy. Silly me!
