Dad Vs. Coyote - Dad Wins

A man in New Hampshire suffocated a coyote who attacked his toddler son:

I applaud this man; any parent would have done the same for their children.

But let's look at the bigger picture. For a coyote to be so bold, it must have been starving or perhaps its children were starving. Human encroachment has destroyed their habitat and exterminated the game they hunt. So what are THEY supposed to do to feed themselves?

We are digging our own graves. Unless we restore balance to this planet (e.g., by making room for other species which form the overall web of life on the earth), we don't have much of a future, either.
