The War On Common Sense

It would stand to reason that the Wuhan virus is being spread in its early stages by people from the region.

However, the PC police think it's xenophobic to recognize such a fact:

In this instance, being PC might lead to your death. Do you think that's a reasonable way to approach this problem? What's more important to you - not hurting someone's feelings, or surviving the looming pandemic?

Yes I'm simplifying things, but life-and-death decisions often are quite simple.
