Are Asteroids A Sign Of The End Times ???

Earth has been buzzed by several asteroids lately, and more are on the way:

Asteroid 2017 BS32 will zoom past Earth TONIGHT in fourth close shave of the year.

This reminds me of the following passage in the Bible:

And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

Revelation 16:21 KJV

If we get hit by one or more of these puppies, people will indeed curse at G-d. And they will give a "scientific" explanation for the events instead of a religious one.

Is that a good idea?
