Remember the "October surprise" of 1980? Ronald Reagan's campaign staff appeared to have conspired with the Iranians to keep US hostages imprisoned until Reagan became president. In return, the Iranians received some things they wanted (although I believe we don't fully understand what all of those things may have been). If that is what actually happened, Reagan's staff not only interfered with the election, they committed TREASON.
Yet after a pitifully inept investigation by the MSM, no one was fired, indicted, or impeached. The whole affair slipped into the realm of "conspiracy theories".
Now comes President Trump, whose campaign staff (i.e., General Flynn) appears to have done the following:
One White House official with knowledge of the conversations told me that the Russian ambassador raised the sanctions to Flynn and that Flynn responded that the Trump team would be taking office in a few weeks and would review Russia policy and sanctions. That’s neither illegal nor improper.

Yet Flynn has been forced to resign, and the clamor to impeach Trump grows louder by the minute.
What's wrong with you people?
By the way, should you not believe there was an "October surprise" in 1980, you should read the work of the one journalist who actually looked into the facts - Robert Parry:
