Tech companies persist in their lies concerning the need for immigration. Here is the latest batch from The New York Times:

As I have said before, if there is one thing we have learned in the Internet age, it's that you do not have to be physically located somewhere to have a presence. I'm aware that all the best tech talent wants to come here, but anything this so-called "great talent" can do here that is job-related they can do in their native lands.
I suspect the real reasons that want to come here are sex, drugs, and rock and roll. They want to come to the US to get rich and do things which either are illegal in their countries or which are abominations in the Bible or Koran.
THAT'S NOT A GOOD ENOUGH REASON FOR COMING HERE. In fact, we ourselves should not be doing those things, and to encourage foreigners to come here to participate in our debauchery is in itself an abomination.
Stay away. If you come here, you will lose your soul.
