Mr. Robot Season Two Finale

I was happy to see that Mr. Robot addressed an issue I raised last year:

Ownership of property and resources is what matters (not "wealth" or "debt"), and ownership is recorded via hard copy. It would be difficult if not impossible to erase all the traces of ownership, and this is what will give the rich the upper hand when such an event occurs.

Stage 2 of Elliot's plan, to destroy all the paper records, would certainly take care of that issue.

By the way, a day or two ago I watched the 1964 movie Fail Safe. In that movie, a mechanical failure leads to an "accidental" nuclear exchange in which both Moscow and New York City are destroyed by 20 megaton nuclear bombs. The President's advisory group recommends that the only thing worth saving in NYC is the records of US corporations which are stored there.

Those records, deeds, and contracts are the prime instruments of control the rich use against the rest of us, and I'm certain they consider those records to be more important than We The People.

On the other hand, OUR important document, the US Constitution, is more or less disregarded by the rich and their puppet government in DC. That shows you where we stand in the overall scheme of things.
