In LA, an elderly man was severely beaten for bumping into another man's car:

I find it interesting that the name or race of the person who assaulted him is not mentioned. Had a white person done this to a non-white person, wouldn't someone have called it a "hate crime"? Are straight white men the only "haters" in America?
