Clearly there are levels of coercion in science. Here are some examples:
(1) Climate scientists are being forced to agree with global warming / climate disruption theories:

(2) Autism researchers have been run out of their profession for even suggesting that vaccines may be a causal factor:

(3) Scientists studying the detrimental effects of herbicides have been attacked:

(4) Scientists and other academics have been under extreme pressure to agree with the official theory of how the World Trade Center towers collapsed:

(5) And scientists who suggested that Gulf War Syndrome may have been caused by insect spray and other chemicals have lost their funding (personal communication).
Whenever Big Pharma, Big Medicine, Big Agra, and/or Big Money are involved the scientist is just a small fish in a very big ocean. If he swims against the tide, he will get swallowed up.
No doubt our climate is changing. But if the response to this is to radically alter our way of life at astounding cost, we'd better be certain that response is based on all the facts and not just the ones which help the rich get richer and the tyrants grab more power.
What's the bottom line? If Obama ad-Dajjal is in favor of something, we should be extremely suspicious. Everything the man has ever told us was a lie.
Update: Here's an example of climate change protagonists profiting from their "the sky is falling" reports:

There is nothing unusual in this (after all, that's what the Cold War was all about - bullshit "intelligence" that justified huge weapons purchases), but aren't we all tired of that kind of crap?
