China Building Canal In Nicaragua

It appears that the Chinese will soon dig a new canal in Nicaragua to replace the Panama Canal:

What goes around comes around: US screwed with Nicaragua, and now they will screw with us.

We had better stop attacking China and learn how to partner with them, or we are toast.

By the way, if this will be a sea level canal (i.e., no locks), will it alter the ocean currents is such a manner that "global warming" will be hastened ... or prevented?
