Any perception that America is "good" stems from our overwhelmingly good PR (a.k.a. propaganda). Give people some food, sex, drugs, and rock and roll and they won't much care that you're torturing or killing their neighbors.
And now the chickens are coming home to roost. It's going to get very ugly around here. I would ask you to pray for us, but I'm not sure we deserve it.
