"Our" teachers are changing our schools into pre-prisons. Since our children's prospects for employment don't look too promising, maybe getting them ready for jail is not such a bad thing.
This all reminds me of Harry Harlow's social isolation experiments. Your children's teachers are just like the wire monkeys:

Finland, on the other hand, has some of the best schools in the world and a very low prison population. Why? Because they treat their children like human beings:

They're also not importing and using illegal drugs by the truckload, planeload, and boatload like we are.
But since we're in denial (and intend to remain there), let's not bother to even admit that our kids can buy heroin in just about any school in the US, let alone deal with the devastating impact of that situation.
We're committing national suicide. But hey, as long as the markets are up, why worry?
