Introducing the word "combat" into the discussion is as juvenile as Bill Clinton's claim that "it depends on what the meaning of is is". It's pure bullshit.

All you have to do to know the real question and the real answer is to do what President Obama ad-Dajjal, AG Holder, Senator McCain, Senator Graham, and perhaps even Senator Paul seemingly REFUSE to do:

Article III, Section 3

1:  Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.  No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

2:  The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

An American citizen engaged in combat against the US government is committing TREASON, a crime defined in the Constitution. Congress, not the President, has the constitutional authority to decide the punishment for this crime. And CLEARLY that punishment cannot be imposed without appropriate due process, the definition of which is expressly given in the Constitution.

THE PRESIDENT DOES NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO DO WHAT HE IS NOW DOING AND INTENDS TO DO !!!!!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU FUCKING PEOPLE ?????

And by the way, the murder by drone of the son of Anwar al-Awlaki violated the Article III, Section 3, Paragraph 2 prohibition against "corruption of blood".

Also by the way, and perhaps more importantly for all you so-called Christians out there, when Saul of Tarsus (Saint Paul) was accused of crimes worthy of death, he appealed to Caesar as a Roman citizen. Although he posed a far greater threat to Rome than ANY of our so-called enemies pose to us, his request was granted and his appeal was heard. When Anwar al-Awlaki's family made a similar appeal on his behalf, it was rejected.
