A New Industrial Revolution ???

Donald Trump promises to start a new industrial revolution. You can read about it here:

Dear Donald - Every such revolution requires a lot of electrical generating capacity. What will be the source of your electric power?

As I explained in a previous blog post, plans to replace gasoline powered cars with electric ones while also shutting down our coal fired power plants are unworkable. You can read about it here:

Also unworkable is any plan to substantially increase industrial electrical power use in the US without adding equivalent generating capacity. And power plants do not get licensed and built overnight, especially if they burn coal.

Trump may know how to make deals, but he apparently doesn't know jack about how to balance our electricity budget.
