Priorities

Scan the news and you may (as I did) get the impression that same-sex marriage and the rights of women in Pakistan are the most important things in the world.

Isn't it important that our President has claimed the right to imprison and/or kill anyone, anywhere, including you and me, and that he says he doesn't have to justify his actions to anyone?

Doesn't it matter that our economy is still on the edge of a REAL cliff and that no one is doing anything meaningful about the situation?

Have we forgotten about the homeless, the hungry, and the sick who are NOT being helped in spite of the accumulation of vast riches by the one percent?

Are going to remain silent while Obama ad-Dajjal and others keep hammering away at our social programs (Social Security, Medicare, and others) until they are gone?

The only hope and change I see is that I hope I still have some change left at the end of the month.

We have to find another way. It has to start with the realization that we must address ALL of the above issues, not just the ones that Wall Street and Hollywood think are important to them.
