Flat busted in Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is flat broke:

This all started when President Mugabe seized land occupied by white farmers to give it to black citizens of his country. I got the impression he did this to help feed his own people.

Now the international financial community (composed of mostly white boys and girls), after holding their breath until they and the people of Zimbabwe turned blue, have managed to get their revenge against these blacks who had the NERVE to want to feed themselves and their children.

What I want to know is this: did seizing the farms actually help people feed themselves? If it did, then perhaps more farms should be seized and Mr. Mugabe deserves a round of applause. This reminds me too much of what America did to Cuba. They embarrassed us so we crushed them, and continue to do so even today.

Are property rights more important than human rights? They are in America, and it looks like they are in Zimbabwe, too.
