Déjà vu, all over again

Leon Panetta vows "revenge" against al-Qaeda:

Compare Panetta's words to those of Bobby Kennedy (see my 1/21/2013 blog post "RFK's speech about the killing of MLK").

The reborn President Obama ad-Dajjal vows a continuing US global military presence:

Looks like four more years (at least) of the same horse shit, served with different spices and garnishes. Militarism and combating climate change will suck up every penny these clowns can squeeze out of us, leaving nothing for social programs and the people's safety net. For anyone to suggest that Dr. King and Obama ad-Dajjal have anything in common is a sad, sick joke.

It seems to me like the ruling class has saddled us with problems which CANNOT be solved, allowing them to live handsomely from our efforts from now till Kingdom Come (which, by the way, may be our only real hope). Like Sisyphus, we're doomed to keep pushing the boulder up the hill, only to watch it roll back down so we have to start all over again.

Are we stupid or what? Does anyone other than me think we need to stop doing the same old shit over and over again?
