No problem! But just in case these uppity DC clowns have never read
the US Constitution, here’s the applicable part:
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of
a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be
infringed.
I think that means we have the constitutional right to form our own armed
militias, independent of federal control and not requiring federal
authorization, and that this right cannot be infringed upon by executive order. What do you think it
means?
Does anyone remember reading Animal Farm? The animals wrote their version of a constitution (the "Seven Commandments of Animalism") on the wall of
the barn. After endless changes and
reinterpretations by the pigs, it was eventually revised to read only the
following:
All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than
others.
If you let the pigs take your guns, you will immediately be
dis-empowered just like the rest of the animals in the story.
Land of the free, home of the brave? Not any more.
By the way, the character named Snowball in the story was the functional equivalent of Osama bin Laden. Funny how things work out. That Orwell guy was pretty damned smart.
He's dead now, too.
