In other words, will Russia give Israel to the OK to attack Syria and Iran? If Putin agrees (and since the US obviously wants to lick Israel's boots), this means war. BIG war.
Minimum impact - higher gas and oil prices. Maximum impact - the sky's the limit.

The only way I think Putin would go for this is if Syria already has been partitioned in all but name, and the facts of the partition are acceptable to Russia.
So much for Putin being the "great statesman".
