Israel's Willing Executioners

An Israeli soldier convicted of manslaughter for shooting dead a prone Palestinian assailant was freed from prison on Tuesday and greeted by supporters as a hero after serving nine months behind bars, half his original sentence.

Elor Azaria was initially condemned to 18 months in prison for the 2016 killing of Abdul Fatah al-Sharif in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron.

Armed forces chief of staff Gadi Eisenkot later reduced the term by four months and in March a parole board ordered a further cut, to a total of nine months.

So, what many of us would consider a totally unnecessary killing has earned this man a hero's welcome. Wonderful.

Is the IDF the most moral army in the world? Only if your sense of morality is as twisted as theirs.

Here is something I still don't get - why did G-d create non-Jews? Just so His chosen people would have a way to satisfy their blood lust? The whole Palestine thing makes no sense to me.

How about you? Do you think G-d wants Israelis to kill everyone they don't like?
