I thought its discussions about signs in the heavens were useful.
But I was perplexed with some of the other content:
(1) Much time was spent evaluating timelines based on a 50-year jubilee cycle. Israel is NOT observing the law of jubilee, so I don't think that was a valid path to follow. Jews don't intend to restart the jubilee cycle until AFTER their messiah comes.
(2) Nothing the show covered would be supported by Israelis, especially not by the high priesthood. How can Jews and Christians experience totally different futures in the same Holy Land? Will Israeli Jerusalem and Christian "New Jerusalem" be different places?
(3) Much footage of the preppers focused on their use of firearms. There is nothing in the Book of Revelation to support such a thing.
The documentary ended with an anticipation that something important would happen on September 23, 2017. You can find a discussion about this issue here:

Apparently nothing important happened on that day, but perhaps something did that was concealed from us.
Whatever the case, keep these passages from Matthew 24 (KJV) in mind:
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Yes, the end is near ... but don't believe anyone who gives you a specific date. Even Jesus Himself could not do that.
