In the wake of the Florida school shooting, some have been proposing that the answer is more police. Here are some examples of this type of proposal:

If "more cops" was the answer, we'd already have the lowest rates of school shootings, incarceration, and police violence in the world. But instead we have the highest.

Obviously, we're doing something wrong. I don't have the answer, but neither do the people who are running this country.
