The Guardian has a tentative list of people who could be named person of the year for 2013:
http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/dec/03/person-of-year-2013-who-gets-your-vote
Here's my take on their list:
The Pope - Takes more vacations than Obama ad-Dajjal.
The Greenpeace activists - Way too much in love with themselves.
Edward Snowden - A saint. Should be chosen as the next Pope.
Elon Musk - What has he given us, other than cars which burst into flames and a PayPal system which makes it easy for the NSA to keep an eye on our spending?
Kayne West - I have no use for haters.
Andy Murray - A sports figure? Are you kidding?
Waris Dirie - I'll get excited about FGM when women demand that male circumcision be stopped.
Jack Monroe - Poor people already know how to survive with no money. Why should this person get a book deal for telling us how?
The Bitcoin person - Isn't the love of money the root of all evil?
Bottom line ... Ed Snowden gets my vote. The rest of these people are useless eaters.
