If the US economy actually were improving and if the unemployment rate actually were decreasing, this might make sense. But using the cynical trick of saying the long-term unemployed have decided voluntarily to stay out of the workforce is total bullshit.
If there WERE jobs, people would take them. And by this I mean JOBS, not slave wages.
