Considering the fact that we are running out of everything, producing our own essentials seems like a GREAT idea:
Or do you want some unelected bureaucrats in Switzerland to decide what you can and cannot have?
In my view, we have precious little time to turn this ship around. Here are two reasons why:
1. Corporations are building factories which need no human workers, and this greatly reduces the financial and political power of labor:

2. There are more than enough humans to go around. When people resist, all "our" government has to do is let more refugees enter the country:
We can waste our time arguing about all of this, or we can see the handwriting on the wall and DO SOMETHING about it. Which would you prefer?
