Considering the 20 year debacle in Afghanistan, the COVID-19 fiasco, and the disaster in our school systems, I'm surprised to see scientists, doctors, teachers, and the military rated so high. Do they really deserve our trust?
All four groups have one thing in common - they're mostly conformists who do what they're ordered to do. When those orders are lawful and moral, I'll agree these folks deserve our trust. But when their orders are being given by depraved or evil people, then not so much trust is warranted.
We're not stupid, we're not domestic terrorists, and we're not extremists. We're the American people, who until recently were considered to be the good guys. Who decided that we're not, and who put them in charge?
