This reminds me of what happened after 9/11 - the USA hid or destroyed all the physical evidence from the World Trade Center site.
Why destroy evidence if you've got nothing to hide? Hmmm?

Considering what happened after 9/11, how likely is it such an inquiry would actually be independent AND truthful? Even if it were, how successful could it be now that key evidence has been destroyed?
