The Kings Of The East

Reports such as this one attempt to explain why the US still has troops and proxy forces in Syria:

Most people will assume their presence has something to do with oil, the balance of regional power, etc.

But consider this biblical prophecy:

And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

Revelation 16:12 KJV

"Our" forces currently sit on the east side of the Euphrates River. Are they positioned there for an End Times purpose? I would not be surprised if they were. You may not see the hand of G-d in current events, but He is there.
