The CDC is coming under fire over their response to acute flaccid myelitis (AFM).
There are a zillion reports about this on the Internet, but one thing they all seem to have in common is that NONE suggest vaccines as a possible cause.
Considering that "vaccines do no harm" is an unassailable dogma in US medicine, this is exactly what I would expect.
But ... you cannot find something you refuse to look for. It seems to me that we are messing around with the human immune system in many ways without perfect knowledge of what all the effects might be. I therefore would not be surprised at all if there was a vaccine component to AFM. Take a look at the vaccine schedule, and try to persuade yourself there is NO possibility of a link:
