A: Every single church I have ever seen in the US has been flying the US flag.
Whether these flags are flown under duress or "voluntarily", they all point to the same thing - in this world, religion is inseparable from government.
The only true believers are those who took up their cross and wound up dead. The rest of the so-called Christians (for example), seem to have forgotten this maxim:
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
