I think that's a bunch of hogwash.
Most Americans probably want aggressive action on:
- jobs
- the economy
- taxes
- infrastructure
- getting the loonies out of our schools
I think many of us realize that aggressive action on climate change is a so-called priority because it will make a chosen few a LOT of money, not because it will help the rest of us.
We are rushing headlong toward a number of potential catastrophes, and the Chicken Little types are not really helping.
Here is my suggestion - we should set a maximum income level and demand that all monies above that level be diverted toward solving "climate change" and our other problems. I realize such a thing would be nearly impossible, but keep in mind that the climate change loonies actually are demanding the same thing - except they want We The People to pay to fix things while the super rich will continue to get richer and richer. Which of these alternatives do you think is more fair?
