Dr. Paul Craig Roberts asks some important questions:
For sixteen years the US has been at war in the Middle East and North Africa, running up trillions of dollars in expenses, committing untold war crimes, and sending millions of war refugees to burden Europe, while simultaneously claiming that Washington cannot afford its Social Security and Medicare obligations or to fund a national health service like every civilized country has.
Considering the enormous social needs that cannot be met because of the massive cost of these orchestrated wars, one would think that the American people would be asking questions about the purpose of these wars. What is being achieved at such enormous costs? Domestic needs are neglected so that the military/security complex can grow fat on war profits.
The lack of curiosity on the part of the American people, the media, and Congress about the purpose of these wars, which have been proven to be based entirely on lies, is extraordinary. What explains this conspiracy of silence, this amazing disinterest in the squandering of money and lives?

The MSM, the so-called "free press", asks absolutely no important questions. They just waste our time on childish BS, such as arguing with our infantile president.
And Dr. Roberts is correct - the post-9/11 wars have benefited Israel, and only Israel. Sadly, many so-called Christians think that Israel can do no wrong, no matter what earthly laws the Israelis violate. These "Christians" should read the letters of Saint Paul, who clearly points out that we should be obeying our earthly rulers ... unless those rulers want us to violate G-d's laws. Sadly, we do just the opposite.
Today I saw a women wearing a shirt with the slogan "I stand with Israel". I want to make it clear that my goal is to stand with G-d and that I do NOT believe the modern nation of Israel is carrying out G-d's will.
What Israel is doing goes directly against the Torah. You can find the scriptures which prove that here:
And what the USA is doing goes directly against the Gospel of Jesus. You can find many proofs of that assertion in this blog and elsewhere in the world. The only "just war" will be the one with Jesus Christ in command of the armies out of heaven, and He will not make His appearance until the First Seal is opened.
So, to answer the title question - the purpose of our wars is to make the best among us stop being Christians.
And they have.
