Here is another misleading report about the potential for war in Ukraine:
Here are two reasons I believe reports like this to be misleading:
1. If there is a coup we should be concerned about, it is the US-backed coup which overthrew the government of Ukraine and led to this mess.
2. If there is anyone who should be dissuaded from starting a war in Ukraine, it is the US and the deep state warhawks who control our foreign policy.
The Russians have clearly stated what the problems are and where the red lines exist. If the US chooses to ignore their warnings, the outcome should surprise no one. The only real unknowns are these:
- Which side will get their ass kicked, and how badly?
- Will all this lead to a wider war, perhaps one which goes nuclear?
Hitler thought he could defeat Russia, but he and his country got destroyed in the process. Do you really believe we could do better? And even if we could, what's the point? Don't US oligarchs already have enough money?
