Diabetes On The Rise

According to this report, roughly 10% of all people globally will get diabetes:

Are these the reasons why?

The International Diabetes Federation suspects that the number of newly diagnosed diabetes cases has actually been falling in some developed countries and that past and future increases in the share of people with diabetes can be attributed to people with the condition living longer lives. In developing countries, however, more people could still be getting the disease because of the lifestyle changes typically associated with economic progress, like diets high in sugar and fat as well as more time spent with sedentary activities.

"Economic progress"? How can it be called progress when more people have a potentially deadly disease?

Any thoughts on whether the "great reset" might reverse this trend? After all, we'll own nothing, be happy, eat insects and plants, and not be able to obtain sugar and fats in the quantities we now consume.

Or considering the way this "vaccine" mess is headed, will we even be around to witness the outcome?
