Apparently the US is considering a nuclear first strike against Russia:
The USA activated its nuclear unit in Mainz-Kastel for the first time since the end of the Cold War. The 56th Artillery Command, equipped with long-range hypersonic missiles, aimed at Moscow. But the answer from the Russians was not long in coming.
I was in Europe at AFCENT the last time this unit was active. I remember contemplating what I would do if we received warning of a launch. Twenty-one minutes is not a long time to live the rest of your life.
What the US is doing is STUPID and dangerous. Russia would not be a threat if we weren't threatening THEM. All this US stunt accomplishes is to make nuclear war much more likely.
Good job, "Joe Biden". You are the dumbest SOB I've ever seen in the White House, by far. Do you even have a clue what you're doing?

I re-watched the 1964 movie "Fail Safe" last night. Stars Henry Fonda, Walter Matthau, and Larry Hagman, with Dom DeLuise in a support role. It's an excellent anti-nuke weapons film, and much more realistic than "Doctor Strangelove".
What surprises me the most is that today, with the danger of accidental nuclear war worse than at any time since the 60s, there is absolutely nothing about this topic in the MSM. Nothing. They're either brain dead or complicit, and in either case we may be sleep walking into oblivion.
And who is controlling our nuclear weapons these days? Biden, Pelosi, or someone in the Pentagon? I'm not certain it's even possible to know, considering the confusion sown by Pelosi during the final days of the Trump presidency.
