I don't think we can be saved. Those who think we can are (literally) dying out, while those who want to destroy the USA are in the ascendancy.
The constitution will be completely gone within my lifetime, or it will be replaced with something unrecognizable to my generation.
Yes, it can and did happen here. And not only did US citizens NOT fight to protect their nation, many of them are fighting to destroy it.
It boggles the mind.
