The unmarked 18-wheelers ply the nation’s interstates and two-lane highways, logging 3 million miles a year hauling the most lethal cargo there is: nuclear bombs.
The covert fleet, which shuttles warheads from missile silos, bomber bases and submarine docks to nuclear weapons labs across the country, is operated by the Office of Secure Transportation, a troubled agency within the U.S. Department of Energy so cloaked in secrecy that few people outside the government know it exists.

I bet a lot more people know it exists now !!!
What's the point of publicizing the following?
- Our nuclear bomb transport system is vulnerable;
- The Russian have mole nuclear missiles off our coasts; and
- The North Koreans are getting ready to nuke Hawaii.
Maybe the US government really wants us to be well informed.
Or maybe they want to plant a seed in our heads; one that grows into a realization that a nuclear attack on US soil is an inevitable thing.
Then if and when it happens, they'll have plenty of potential patsies to blame it on:
- US militia groups
- Muslim extremists
- Iranians
- Russians
- North Koreans
And we'll believe whatever we're told, because we'll be scared shitless. Who wouldn't be?
So before it happens, take a deep breath and think about what you're gonna do.
Did you ever read The Sum of All Fears or watch the movie? If and when we suffer a nuke terrorist attack, demand to see the isotopic spectrum of the fallout which will be used to "prove" where the bomb came from. And be very suspicious, since the government could easily substitute whatever spectrum they choose for the actual one. There ain't gonna be no Jack Ryan risking his life to save the day by making sure the truth is revealed, but there will be plenty of John McCains and Lindsey Grahams demanding that we strike back ASAP.
And here is a report that the "terror attacks" the FBI saves us from are often of their own making:
