According to this report by James Corbett, a potential global currency is being created:

... the IMF is formally adding the Chinese renminbi (a.k.a. the yuan) to their “Special Drawing Rights” basket on Saturday, October 1st. The move boosts the yuan to the status of global reserve currency alongside its basketmates, the pound, the euro, the yen and the dollar. At 10.92% it will be the third highest-weighted currency in the basket, behind the euro at 30.93% and the dollar at 41.73%.

If the public were to understand that the global banking model is a destructive one (for the public, not for the elites), then they might demand the erasure of the model and its institutions entirely.  The elites don’t want that.  What they want is to be free to conjure crisis after crisis after crisis; to have the option to collapse the system only to replace it with something identical in nature but even more oppressive in its function.  They want to create chaos today so that greater centralization can be purchased in the future through mass fear.

Keep the following perspective in mind - that which seems chaotic to We The People may be exactly what the powers that be need in order to achieve their goals. Financial collapse, war, civil strife - all these are tools of the high and mighty. Don't forget what robber baron Jay Gould once said:

"I can hire one half of the working class to kill the other half."

Doesn't that seem to be more or less what's been happening in the US (e.g. cops and the military apparently making war on the rest of us)?

"Our" leaders do not work for us, and they do NOT have our best interests in mind.
