According to this report, cases of the seasonal flu have fallen to nearly zero in the southern hemisphere. Some are claiming this is because they're being counted as new COVID-19 cases:
Let's compare that to the situation with former physician Andrew Wakefield.
Wakefield was accused of making fraudulent claims about a link between a novel form of bowel disease, autism, and the MMR vaccine. You can read about what happened here:

What interests me is the size of the cohorts involved in the two situations. Wakefield's study involved 12 patients. Assuming none of them actually had the syndrome Wakefield claimed, that's a relatively insignificant "fraud" - allegedly lying about a dozen patients.
Mischaracterizing hundreds of thousands of seasonal flu cases as COVID-19 cases, on the other hand, if that's what is happening, represents a MASSIVE fraud.
Why are the two being treated differently? Wakefield's fraud, if that's what it was, allegedly persuaded parents to NOT vaccinate their children. What appears to be a flu-to-COVID fraud, on the other hand, is helping to persuade people to TAKE a vaccine, which incidentally appears to be of little value for its alleged purpose - stopping the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
What's really going on here? Clearly TPTB want you and your children to take whatever vaccines they tell you to, regardless of their potential side effects and lack of efficacy. Why would they do that?
And considering the level of human overpopulation of the planet and its attendant destruction of the environment, why in the world would they want to reduce the human mortality rate in the first place? Isn't it far more likely they'd want us to stop breeding and just die?
The whole thing makes no sense to me. What do you think?
