Congress just passed a "stimulus" bill which was 5593 pages long, and no one read it before voting. It wasn't discussed in committee, and no Representative or Senator was allowed to amend it:

This is not "a democracy" or even "a republican form of government". This is rule by oligarchs (e.g., Nancy Pelosi and Mitch McConnell) who work in secret with the acquiescence of nearly all members of "our" Congress.
I will leave it to others to reveal the pork and nonsense it contains (as people finally read it - after it becomes law), but I do recommend that you watch Senator Rand Paul's floor speech condemning it and the people who voted for it:
I cannot say this strongly enough - we are on the edge of a precipice. This level of debt is unsustainable, and Congress seems hell bent on increasing it even further. Just what the heck are they up to?
