US Navy Death Traps

The Navy has decided to decommission a ship which recently was damaged by a fire. You can read about it here:

All ships are susceptible to fire, and the older they are the greater the danger.

Was this fire a result of "arson"? The above report suggests no one has proven this to be the case. But if a single arsonist with limited resources could destroy a ship, what kind of damage could a missile or artillery shell cause?

Think about it - these old ships are death traps. Our sailors deserve better.

And the best thing we could do for our sailors is to work together with other nations to resolve our disputes instead of sending warships to force them to do our bidding.
