Fire On A Submarine

I have been underwater on a sub which experienced a fire. Fortunately no one was injured, but we all could have been killed. Not so much from the fire, but a resultant loss of power while in heavy seas could have led to sinking of the boat.

By the way, concerning Losharik's alleged mission to cut undersea cables: I have no direct knowledge of this, but it would not surprise me to learn that US subs have been on similar missions. Whatever they can do, we can do better (or so we tell ourselves).
