LTC Vindman apparently doesn't understand the basics of the chain of command concept when he makes accusations such as this:

Trump is the C-in-C. Vindman is an underling WAY down the chain.
The President sets our foreign policy. Vindman is obligated to follow it. He can advise and complain, but he cannot sabotage the President's directives.
Instead of trying to vindicate Vindman, people ought to realize that his current actions and complaints are insubordinate. The impeachment fiasco is over, the trial has concluded, and the verdict has been reached. There is no appeal, so please stop the whining.
For those who claim what Trump did was "illegal", I have two responses:
(1) He's been impeached, tried and acquitted. Give it a rest.
(2) EVERYTHING the US and Israel have done in the Middle East, especially in Iraq and Syria, has been illegal. How come you're not moaning about THAT? Who gives a shit about Vindman when Julian Assange, a REAL whistleblower, is still rotting in prison while Vindman remains free and on the military payroll?
