You've probably heard about the locust problem in Africa. If not, you can read about it here and watch some videos showing the swarms:

Now the Hungarian foreign minister seems to be implying that hoards of human migrants may have a similar effect:

Of course, the first thing being done to address this problem is to censor speech:
Dutch MEP Marcel de Graaff also said that the pact would grease the skids for laws that would criminalize criticism of mass immigration as hate speech.
So, I guess I'll avoid any such criticism. How about you?
The biggest question I have on the subject is this - We all have been complaining about the widening gap between rich and poor. Clearly, promoting mass migration will address this gap by allowing an equalization from the poorest areas of the world into some of the richest. BUT WILL IT REDUCE THE GAP OR JUST DRAG WHAT REMAINS OF THE MIDDLE DOWN TO THE BOTTOM?
We're facing a future with 10+ billion poor people and a handful of ultra rich ones who will "own" everything. Is that an equitable solution? Or even a workable one?
And dear FM Szijjárt, treating migrants as "terrorists" isn't going to help anything, unless your goal is to help the rich stay rich.
