Africa Poised To Invade Europe

Here is an ironic twist of fate if I ever saw one:

The UNHCR calculates that there are currently 60 million displaced people worldwide. More than half of the military conflicts contributing to that total are to be found on the African continent, in places like Libya, Somalia, Nigeria and Mali. In addition, a devastating drought is ravaging Ethiopia and Eritrea and a famine is on the horizon.

In total, 1.3 million refugees applied for asylum in the EU last year. Prior to its closure in March, the main path to Europe was the Balkan Route, primarily used by Syrians, Iraqis, Afghans and Pakistanis. Now, however, the route across the Mediterranean is coming back into focus. In the summer months, the sea can be crossed with relative ease.

NATO foolishly destroyed Libya, and the policies and actions of the US, UK, France, NATO, and Israel have ravaged most of Africa over the centuries. It's thus only fair these oppressed people should now be invading the homelands of their oppressors.

What goes around, comes around.

By the way, note well the only oppressor country which is NOT being so invaded is Israel. Why is that? The Israelis might argue it's because they are not oppressors, but that is complete BS.

  1. As the son of a 'wicked colonialist' I wish to point out that after WW2 my father and many others were recruited by the Brit Government to build an infrastructure in Nigeria. They did a great job; building roads, hospitals, railways, schools, building the export of beef, tin and groundnuts to name just a few products, all for a salary. When 1960 rolled around the Nigerians were handed a working, viable country while the builders went home to the UK.

  2. Well said. For what it's worth, I worked with a number of Nigerians in Texas over a period of 10 years. Not one of them ever mentioned the good works done by your father or the other Brits who built that working, viable country for them. Did the Gauls thank the Romans after they drove them out? I think not.

  3. I came across one! I was waiting in line is a small liquor outlet near Boston. The guy in front of me was black and when he spoke his accent in English seemed familiar. I said, 'Are you from Northern Nigeria by any chance?' he said, 'Yes, how do you know?' I told him that I had lived there while my Dad was operating the Livestock Improvement Center at a small place called Vom. He was amazed, he had been brought up in Jos, just a few miles away. Anyway we chatted and he said, "you know what - you Brits did a wonderful job for the country but the only thing was..... you left too early." I was staggered. He told me he was a Christian and had left because of Boko Harum.
