Why were Yemeni oil and gas terminals attacked ???

Recently the government of Yemen, assisted by US assassination drone attacks, thwarted an attempt by al-Qaeda to seize an oil export terminal and a gas export terminal:

Let's look at this from another perspective; the important concept here is "export terminal":

  • Western oil firms, supported by local dictators, are stealing the wealth of Yemen. The people of Yemen get little or NOTHING for the oil and gas extracted from their land.
  • Local resistance fighters and patriots decided to put an end to this theft and mounted an operation to take back their property from the neo-colonial thieves.
  • The United States government, which loves dictators and especially loves other peoples' money, came to the rescue of the thieves and killed the local resistance fighters and patriots. They stenciled the term "al-Qaeda" on their dead bodies to justify the murders.
  • Now the people of Yemen can go back to their medieval-era poverty, while the ruling classes of America and Europe can continue to revel in luxury.

Why do they hate us?
