People (and baboons) don't like prison

Is there a common cause here?

Sentient creatures don't like being imprisoned forever, even if it's a comfy prison. Don't expect them to love or obey their captors willingly.

Note that the Dutch seem genuinely concerned about the fate of the baboons, while Americans don't give a rat's ass about what happens to their captives in Gitmo.

(No, I am NOT equating the Gitmo captives to baboons.)

Some animals are sensitive to earth tremors and other impending disasters. Perhaps the baboons know something we don't (and knowing Americans as well as I do, THAT would not surprise me at all).
